O God Be Praised
The Poetry of Elizabeth M.
Original Poetry composed and read by Elizabeth M.
The quality of mercy is not strained
It droppeth like the gentle rain from heaven
And of this I speak:
When I grow tired and want to quit and move no more from where I sit
Please God give me courage to continue to the end of my promised menu
And live to the last—these blessed days
In this fair land. O God be praised!
O God be Praised
About the author…
Elizabeth comes to Santa Teresita to round out a life filled with beauty. She and her husband enjoyed many rich days together and often went fox hunting. After these invigorating outings, Elizabeth would pull out her pen and compose a poem or two. Elizabeth is still writing and this poem is a recent creation.
