Our Mission
Since its establishment in 1931 as a tuberculosis sanatorium for young women, Santa Teresita has been a place of dedicated, nurturing care and healing. Over the past century, Santa Teresita has served the healthcare needs of its surrounding communities by providing acute care, assisted living and skilled nursing care. Today, nearly 100 years later, Santa Teresita is the home of two assisted living cottages where its legacy of providing care of uncompromising quality continues to serve the senior population. The mission of Santa Teresita includes the values of unwavering commitment to the intrinsic dignity and respect of each human person and to the steadfast adherence to the moral and ethical teachings of the Catholic Church.
We uphold and promote the dignity of life at all stages by providing quality care to the elders we are privileged to serve, ensuring their lives are vibrant, filled with purpose and fulfillment so that they will thrive during their golden years. At Santa Teresita, we provide our residents with a nurturing environment reminiscent of the family home, where they find the warmth of companionship, where their physical needs are met and where they are engaged intellectually, socially and spiritually. It is because of these steadfastly held principles that families throughout the United States have made Santa Teresita an option of choice for their loved one.
