Santa Teresita, nestled in the foothills of the majestic San Gabriel Mountains, is a beautiful 12-acre Neighborhood of Care for seniors. The Carmelite Sisters and staff of Santa Teresita specialize in healthcare for our cherished seniors, including assisted living and skilled nursing services, along with comprehensive rehabilitation options and other amenities that together form a Neighborhood of Care.
Santa Teresita began in 1930 when the Carmelite Sisters established a tuberculosis sanatorium for young women and girls. From the original three acres to today’s 12-acre campus, Santa Teresita’s mission is to be “At the Service of the Family for Life.”
Lush gardens, friendly staff and a sense of profound peace and vibrancy permeate our neighborhood. We offer a wide variety of opportunities, including our popular senior university, our chapel, wellness center, and inter-generational activities with the children from our Hayden Child Care Center, which is also on Santa Teresita’s campus.
Santa Teresita promotes a whole culture of life, rooted in the Gospel, that values the dignity of each person as a gift from God and reflects the healing ministry of Jesus. It is because of these steadfastly-held principles that families from throughout the United States have made Santa Teresita their senior care option of choice.
