Building a Neighborhood of Care

For several years now, the Carmelite Sisters have been asking the following question: How can we best meet the current needs of our elders? Sadly, current healthcare trends leave many of our elders underserved, vulnerable and at-risk. That is why the Carmelite Sisters and staff at Santa Teresita are convinced that now is the time for a vigorous, proactive commitment to transform elder care in our country.

The Campaign for Santa Teresita has a simple and clear objective – to give our beloved seniors the opportunity to live a full life even as they face the slow decline that comes with aging. Santa Teresita launched the redesign of its campus with the goal of creating a Neighborhood of Care offering short and long-term care in a facility capable of providing skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living and memory care (Dementia and Alzheimer’s) services, all in an environment that feels like a home. The Campaign for Santa Teresita will make an exceptional life experience and a loving home available for aging members of our community for many years to come.

We invite you to join us in providing our cherished seniors with a home where they can thrive and live with purpose and dignity. If you would like to help make this vision a reality through a monetary gift, please click here.
