Sister Mary Clare,  O.C.D., R.D., N.H.A., the Chief Executive Officer of Santa Teresita, will be speaking at the 82nd Annual Educational Conference of the Catholic Medical Association.  One of the ways the Catholic Medical Association promotes its mission to uphold the principles of the Catholic faith in the science and practice of medicine is through their annual educational conference.  This year it will be held October 24-26, in Santa Barbara.  Sister will address the theme of the conference, Mission, Justice, and Medicine: Integrating Catholic Social Teachings into Health Care, through a talk on Saturday, October 26th addressing Catholic spirituality and its social implications for health care. 

As a professed Carmelite Sister for 17 years, Sister Mary Clare holds a BS in Nutritional Science from CSPU, Pomona, is a Registered Dietitian and licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of California.  She has served the Community Apostolate in the capacity of Clinical Dietitian for 3 years, Food Service and Clinical Management for 5 years, and in Executive Healthcare Leadership for the past 5 years.  She also served 4 years as formation directress for Candidates seeking entrance to our Community.
