"Let the Little Children Come to Me..."
 |
Hayden Daycare Center on the campus of Santa Teresita Medical Center, has been in operation since 1967, and seeks to provide a loving, safe, non-competative environment where children are introduced to new concepts and ideas in our monthly theme-based curriculum. As part of the Carmelite Sisters' apostolate we strive to "Educate for Life with the Mind and the Heart of Christ." We assist families in the spiritual, social, and academic formation of their children. We desire to animate their response to Christ's invitation to "let the little children come to me." (Matthew 19:14).

Religion, Math, Language, Science, and Social Studies are introduced at age appropriate levels. Computers are planned for the near future.
All students are exposed to a variety of experiences of art and music. All outdoor activities promote physical and motor development and offer an opportunity for social interaction.
Good safety habits afe fostered along with solid moral guidance and a positive preventive method of discipline. We support parents as the primary educators of their children, working closely with the home to assist the indispensable mission of forming citizens of the Kingdom of God.
We also offer a Kindergarten Program, which prepares your child for First Grade. The child must be five (5) years old by December 2nd of the year he or she enrolls in the program. Before and after school, daycare is available to children registered in our program. |

In addition, a special "Jesus Time" is an important part of our daily schedule. During these times the children learn about our faith through Bible and Saint stories, songs and skits.
